About Us
Every year, many
expatriates and volunteers come to Nepal with the
primary objective to help and serve the people of
Nepal. For those people, it is most essential that
they acquire proficiency in Nepali language together
with an accurate perception of the country, its
institutions, customs, and culture in order to
fulfill their objectives and make their time in
Nepal comfortable and enjoyable.
CLCT was established in July 2006 by Dinesh
Rajbhandari, former Head of Language and Orientation
Training Department of International Nepal
Fellowship (INF) a non-profit international
organisation working in Nepal. CLCT is registered
with the Nepal government as a private firm.
Currently, CLCT is providing language and
cross-cultural orientation training to the
expatriates, volunteers and many research students
in Pokhara.

CLCT guarantees a high quality language and cultural
training programme to our clients, using its highly
capable instructors and available training
resources.
The Center is located at Simpani and Naya Gaun in
Pokhara. Local transportations are reachable to both
centres.
The Center has a Director, a Programme
Co-coordinator and seven language instructors. All
our instructors are highly qualified and experienced
with many years of language instruction.

Mission Statement:
CLCT aims to
enable students to successfully achieve proficiency
in the target language and understand culture. This
will enable them to live and act properly with the
people of Nepal during the course of their stay.
This purpose will be fulfilled through the provision
of instructors, curricula, resources, and
opportunities provided by the CLCT and that, which
will be most appropriate to each student. |
