Cross Cultural Training

Cross Cultural Training

WHY Cross Cultural Training?

Cross Cultural Training Culturally sensitized people are more successful and adapt more easily to their environment abroad. Misunderstandings can be avoided beforehand, a cultural shock can be absorbed.
Even more important than the words you say is how you say them and how you present yourself. Understanding other cultures greatly enhances international relationships and creates more favorable working conditions.
We want you to feel well-prepared and comfortable in your new cultural environment, so that you successfully interact with others.

FACTS ALONE DO NOT SUFFICE

When in Rome, do as the Romans do. This common saying seems self-evident, but in practice following this advice is more difficult than it may seem to be. One key aspect for understanding a foreign culture is, of course, detailed information. However, knowing the ‘Do’s and Don’ts’ is not enough, because individuals rarely behave the way described in the travel guides. Aside from cultural factors, personal and situational influences also matter.
Investing your time in cross cultural training is a great way to…

  • Prepare yourself for working with the Nepali people
  • Connect with non-English speaking employees and neighbors
  • Reach a more diverse clientele
